The Leisuredrive Vivante Campervan has been developed, designed and honed to perfection by us for over 30 years leading up to our current T6.1 version providing unparalleled design and comfort with the best facilities in any VW campervan.
Our unique walk through layout allows for plenty of space with a fitted kitchen at the rear passenger side and a fully integrated cassette toilet. All our furniture units are handmade in house at Leisuredrive and come in a range of beautiful finishes offering a large amount of storage space. The kitchen is fully fitted with high spec Dometic appliances including a grill oven, a 60L 3 system fridge freezer, an integrated electric pumped sink with a two-burner hob neatly covered by a split, hinged toughened glass lid when not in use. A microwave can also be fitted as an optional extra. At the rear of the van a modern Thetford electric cassette toilet is seamlessly integrated and set behind a privacy screen. When not in use it is covered with a tambour door
and a hard-top work surface providing extra kitchen space.
Unique to Leisuredrive is our seating and beds. We are the only conversion company in the UK to offer fully STATUS accredited crash tested lay flat seats. They have been refined over the years to provide superior comfort, practicality and safety when driving as well as sleeping. They are available in a large range of beautiful upholstery, leather or a mix. The front swivel passenger seat enables easy access to large free-standing stow away dining table and when night time comes both seats will fold down flat for comfortable sleeping. The bed system allows for two 6’ plus single beds leaving the middle aisle free or you can have a large 6’ plus x 5,4’ double bed. The high-top version also provides additional sleeping space accommodating up to 2 children.
All Vivante’s come with an under-passenger seat safe as standard and all our seats are fitted with fully STATUS crash tested seat belts. The Leisuredrive hi-top made in house, is not only sleek and aesthetically stunning to look at but with hundreds of hours in design and testing has been proven to offer superior fuel efficiency.
The interior is lit by a range of modern independent lighting options including strip lights at the sides and rear doors, touch spots and reading lights at the front if required. Numerous plugs sockets with integrated USB adapters to charge your devices are placed around the interior. A large inbuilt wardrobe with an internal mirror offers plenty of clothes space whilst under both rear passenger seats there’s ample storage for shoes etc.
As standard the Vivante comes with full 240V mains and a twin battery system. We use only the finest sheep wool insulation for warmth and sound proofing and blackout curtains on all the windows give you complete privacy and an excellent night’s sleep and tinted windows
