The Iveco was purchased brand new for the purpose of this build and with no expense spared it was agreed that it should be the most powerful Iveco 4x4 so the engine is a 6.7l turbo diesel with 280bhp.
Next the Iveco was sent away to have all the extras fitted both internally and externally such as the purpose made front bumper to house the 20,000LBS winch, hand made and custom roof racks and ladders and habitation unit. I think you will agree from the pictures, nothing has been forgotten and the vehicle is ready to tackle any terrain, anywhere in the world.
Then comes the habitation area where you will be spending many hours on tour. For this task it was sent to one of the best in the business of unique customer builds, Maclaren Motorhomes. this is not their normal line of work as they build and specialise in motorsport vans such as Mercedes Sprinters but after the current owner already had one of their vans and being a big fan of what they do a deal was agreed and the 1 off build began. at the front of the habitation area is the lounge fitted out with full luxury leather seating with contrasting cross stitch and piping, over head storage, windows either side, open hatch through to cab and flat screen TV. In the kitchen area you have all you need built in including full size fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and induction hobs, sink, power sockets and storage.
Now for what we think is not only the biggest bathroom we have seen in any motorhome, a fantastic use of space and design, on the lower level you will go down a couple of steps and find a full size shower to your left, a vanity mirror with dresser, sink and storage and the WC to the right, come back up the steps and begin the climb up the carpeted staircase to your full size double bed and another wall mounted flat screen TV.
All of this is finished with mood lighting through out and from front to back cross stitched detailed leather ceiling.
Most importantly this has been built for any location on any terrain so you have air conditioning throughout, hot and cold water, heating operating from the diesel heater, double water tanks, 3x domestic leisure batteries and 2x solar panels.
